Description:
The Science and Research Design Group worked with the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry on a NIH-funded project to expand research space in support of the Oral Biology Department, specifically bone biology and biomaterial and tissue engineering. The project added 11,850 GSF on two rooftop spaces adjacent to the northern side of the existing building and renovated 4,100 GSF of space for the electron microscopy suite. The new space is primarily open laboratory space with associated offices and laboratory support spaces.
