Project:
NIH NCRR Grant Application Experience
Project Type:
New Construction
Description:
The Clark Enersen Partners Science and Research Design Group has provided integrated architectural and engineering services for a number of universities in support of their applications for National Institutes of Health (NIH) Extramural Research Facilities Improvement Program (C06) and Core Facility Renovation, Repair and Improvement (G20) grants. We recognize that these grant programs offer an attractive and essential means for universities to secure funds for the renovation or expansion of existing facilities, the construction of new facilities, or the purchase of equipment. Now more than ever, this funding mechanism is vitally important to the advancement of research and scientific endeavor.
As a full-service, architectural engineering firm, The Clark Enersen Partners takes our role and our responsibility in the development of grant applications very seriously. Our experience indicates that while the research program is the most important factor in the grant process, a holistic and detailed approach to the facility design parameters is critical to overall success. Our team of planners, architects, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers have worked togetheron all of our previous grant application projects and is completely engaged from the inception of the process until its final conclusion.
