Description:
This 30,000 GSF building, located west of the current Jonas Science addition, will provide space for classrooms, laboratories, and faculty offices to meet the needs of a rapidly increasing number of students pursuing science degrees. The Center for Conservation of Biological Resources (CCBR) will also be relocated to the new building which is scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2010. The two-story science building will also house two conference rooms and multiple student study areas.
The new science building is designed to meet the specifications for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification at the Silver level.
