Description:
The Science and Research Design Group completed a feasibility study for Bayer Animal Health to evaluate the possibility of creating a new GMP warehouse and distribution facility at their Shawnee Campus as opposed to expanding their current facilities. The new facility would replace two leased properties at other locations. Our investigation was taken to a level of detail necessary to create preliminary concept plans illustrating material flow, parking, site orientation, construction materials, and engineering systems. The new facility would consist of 140,000 GSF high-bay warehouse. Its location would facilitate connection of a material transfer spine to the existing warehouse located on the site.
